TribalLink Activity Centre - Summer Program

The TribalLink Activity Centre is set on 54 acres located in Mapleton on the Sunshine Coast hinterland in Queensland. TribalLink offers a range of First Nations cultural experiences including; native cuisine identification and tasting, traditional games, song, dance and storytelling, artefact workshops, journey to the Bunya (mud challenge) and so much more.  

We have activities for both day and night. Come and experience First Nations food, culture and yarns around the fires.

Wanya Tour

Take a walk with us and immerse yourself in an authentic Aboriginal experience. Learn to identify edible foods and plants while enjoying some yarns along the way. Finish your journey with a traditional cup of lemon Myrtle tea weather permitting with a few more yarns and storytelling.

Cool Fun Hands-on Activities & workshops

Dance Wand

Learn to use the leaves of the sand paper fig to sand and shape a  Dance Wand that you find and make onsite with us.

Yarning around the fire and an awesome cup of Lemon Myrtle tea, exploring story, place and culture.

Bush-Yarns and Boomerangs 

Learn to throw, design and paint a Returning boomerang that actually flies and comes back (once you know how to throw)

Enjoy a traditional cup of lemon Myrtle tea over the fire with storytelling, yarns and fun!

Clap Sticks

Learn to use the clapsticks, design and paint a set.= to take home. learn songs with us and enjoy a traditional cup of lemon Myrtle tea with storytelling.
