• Increased awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories and cultures
• Increased knowledge of the impact of past government policies and practices on health and well-being (including colonisation, removal from land, and cultural dislocation)
• Increased confidence in identifying and communicating with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
• Increased skill in providing culturally appropriate services, developing care plans and care packages, and utilising Medicare Item numbers and referrals to maximise health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients
• Embedding Indigenous perspectives and culture in your workplace, by providing tools to deliver culturally appropriate activities to your clients and students
